Video: The Novitiate Year, While Baking Augustinian Bread

Updated: Feb 20, 2023

As Br. Dan Madden, OSA prepares bread for the Feast of St. Nicholas of Tolentine (September 10) he discusses his experience in the Augustinian Novitiate. The Novitiate is a year-long period of prayer contemplation, and immersion into the Augustinian life that precedes the decision to make vows to the Order.

Take a few minutes to watch this great new video produced by Br. Dominic Smith, OSA, and pray for our men currently in their novitiate year as they head into the Lenten season.
