The Midwest Province of the Augustinian Order celebrated the ordination of Chicago-native Fr. Samuel Joutras, O.S.A. at the St. Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel on June 12, 2021. Presided by Bishop Daniel Turley, O.S.A., the liturgy also included the ordination into the transitional diaconate of Br. Jeff Raths, O.S.A. and Br. Joe Roccasalva, O.S.A., both of whom anticipate entering the priesthood this winter.
